The audit found that all critical information — 1C databases, accounting, production documents — lived on a single server with no backups. The array’s disks already showed wear: increasing failures and self-diagnostic errors.
What we did
We rolled out a 3-2-1 backup scheme: local copies on separate storage, daily cloud uploads, and weekly integrity checks via test restores. We replaced the worn disks before the array failed.
Result
The company now has guaranteed data recovery within hours instead of facing total loss of production data. The disks were replaced on a planned schedule, with zero downtime.
